Intimate Stranger / Under

“It has been few months now since we star­ted wor­king with Lucas Tri­podi on 2 videos for Inti­mate Stran­ger. Under is the first one to be relea­sed. Lucas’ idea was to mix two photo tech­ni­ques toget­her, ‘stop motion’ and ‘light pain­ting’ to create the effect in the video. It took quite a few ses­sions to get all the pho­tos we wan­ted — the shoots con­sis­tied of wai­ting in the dark for a minute while our hel­pers moved dife­rent children’s toys with flas­hing colou­red lights all over the room. It was a bit strange stan­ding in the middle of peo­ple run­ning around with a mix­ture of ‘twin­kle twin­kle little star’, ani­mal noi­ses and beeps going off around you.
